Growing up, I needed to know the location of the closest hospital everywhere we traveled. I made my parents drive by the hospitals in every town to make sure my family knew where to go in case of an emergency. My endeavor to work in a hospital began at the University of Alabama as a Healthcare Management major and Computer Science minor. I started working in hospital IT 13 years ago as an Epic Trainer/Analyst and then moved into the Site Coordinator role that showed me all aspects of Hospital IT and Hospital Operations that I desperately craved. I have a lovely wife and a 3 yo daughter where most of my time is spent. Other hobbies include playing and watching sports, smoking meats for friends and family, and Jazz Fest!
