Dan McGill

Education: Penn State University; B.S. in Information Sciences and Technology Dan got his start in IT when a family member asked him "can you see what's wrong with my computer?" He's said "yes!" to every single similar request since. Dan entered the world of healthcare IT in 2015, working as an Epic Client Systems Administrator for Epic Hosting for 8 years. He specialized in healthcare organization migrations, printing, and boosting morale. In 2023, Dan also improved nationwide patient access to care by joining startup DexCare. No longer content with only private clouds, Dan and Sapphire found each other in 2026, starting his new chapter of building forefront AWS/Azure technologies, supporting others with his ECSA mastery, and still bringing humor to each day. After work, Dan can usually be found playing video or board games, hunched over a Sudoku or crossword puzzle, or writing clever wordplay and "good" bad puns. …Dan needs to take better care of his posture!
